Epping is a market town in Essex about 25 miles to the north east of Central London.  It sits near the junction of the M11 and M25 motorways.

Should you drive to St John's there are one or two parking places for church official visitors next to the church offices.  If you are visiting for events or services, you can park within 5 minutes walk at the public car parks on Bakers Lane.  These are free after 6pm until 8am and on Sundays.

To find the church from Epping Underground Station, turn right out of the station up the hill.  At the top, turn left into Station Road.  Continue up the hill until you reach a mini roundabout at the junction with the High Street.  You will see the church to your right.  It has a distinctive stone tower with a large clock.
